Why Vancouver is a Great Place to Study Language
Approximately 37% of the residents of Vancouver were born in another country. As this percentage grows, there will be more employment opportunities for interpreters, translators and educators. Internships are abundant, and schools often place students with companies for internships. Volunteer opportunities can also be found. The city is home to a variety of cultural associations that, when coupled with the numerous cultural festivals held in the city each year, make Vancouver a good city to prepare for a foreign language degree.
