What are the camp hours and location?

Our hours of operation are 8:30AM – 12:00PM.

Extended care is from 8:00AM – 12:00PM

Camp is first come, first serve.
Students will be placed on the waitlist if a location is at maximum capacity.

Question 2

What will my child do during camp?

Everyday will be filled with both Lego Robotics and Lego Art activities. Students will also have a break in between for some physical activity!

What is your age range?

Accepted Answer

The campers are 5-10 years old at the time of camp. For example, if the children's birthday is before March 16, 2015 or after March 16, 2021, it's outside the range and we are unable to accommodate at this time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

As an NPO (non-profit organization), e-transfer is our default and preferred method. You can e-transfer the fee to programs@vancouvereducation.org (mailto:programs@vancouvereducation.org)after you review the confirmation/quote email. If you prefer to pay by credit card, you can request a payment link (a processing fee for credit card payment will apply).

Can I come and pay in person?

You may come in-person and our staff will assist you. However please note that we do not accept cash payment. If you need assistance in-person, please book an appointment through email at info@yorkeducation.ca.

Question 6

Do you have any referral or sibling discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer a $50 coupon for each family you refer. Referrals will be processed after the registration period closes.

There is also a 10% sibling discount if you register 2 or more children.

Please note that Vancouver Region Educational Services reserves the right to modify this referral policy at any time.

How big are the classes?

We plan to assign 15-20 campers per classroom and the staff to camper ratio is 1:4.

Does your camp support students with special needs?

Accepted Answer

At this time, our camp and counselors are not equipped to accommodate students with special needs. However, if you need assistance, please reach out to us at programs@vancouvereducation.org.(mailto:programs@vancouvereducation.org) We can connect you with a community partner who may be able to provide the support you need.

In the event that government regulations do not allow camps to open or shut down camps mid-season due to COVID-19, affected registrants will be provided with a full refund.

Can I drop off my child at 8:00AM instead of 8:30AM?

Yes, but we have extended care fees. Extended care will be from 8:00AM - 12:00PM. Please refer to the table below.
