Lunar New Year Banquet Dinner with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES) attended the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet dinner. The evening featured exciting performances, great food, and connections with other Richmond-based organizations.

Hosted at Continental Seafood Restaurant, our team enjoyed watching live lion dance and face changing performances. Attending this event with our office partner Nook highlighted the value of shared spaces and partnerships in strengthening local networks. We are always grateful to spend time connecting with the fellow organizations who share our office space!

One standout part of the night was the multi-course banquet dinner served. Food is an important part of Lunar New Year traditions, and a shared meal was the perfect way to bring together attendees in a meaningful and communal setting.

VRES is proud to participate in events that celebrate cultural heritage and foster collaboration across sectors. We left the event feeling inspired to carry the Fire Horse’s strength and energy into this upcoming year to support our mission of making education accessible to children and youth all across the Vancouver region.
