Networking with the Board of Trade at Granville Island Brewing

The VRES team recently had the pleasure of spending an evening at Granville Island Brewing to connect with fellow Board of Trade members. We enjoyed the welcoming environment and the opportunity to discuss the importance of accessible education, youth development, and Vancouver’s growing community.

During the event, we were able to meet a wide range of individuals from industries all around Vancouver. Connecting with professionals in marketing, IT, insurance, banking, and more allowed us to expand our network and open up new possibilities for VRES.

We also built relationships with other organizations that serve volunteers and discussed new ideas for how to enhance our children’s education programs.

Our favourite part was seeing so many people excited about and encouraging our mission of supporting academic achievement, student well-being, and lifelong curiosity.

The location of Granville Island Brewing was a warm, inviting, and relaxed space that made our networking experience a successful and memorable one! Vancouver Region Educational Services looks forward to strengthening these relationships and building new ones in the future.
