Hi, my name is Zienna and I'm in my 3rd year at UBC Sauder specializing in Marketing with a concentration in Business Law. My favorite aspect of working at VRES is having a close, tight-knit team and easy communication when working in office!

I'm a 4th year student completing my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, studying at Vancouver Island University. My favourite aspect of working here at VRES is being able to meet so many cool new people through our Volunteer Success Program!

Hello! My name is Michael Zhu, and I am currently a 4th year Political Science student at UBC. My favourite aspect of working at VRES is attending and supporting our outreach events, where I get to connect with parents and children in the community and at our camps.
Keisha
Hi, I'm Keisha, a Human Resources Coordinator with VRES! As someone passionate about organizational behaviour and youth empowerment, I'm delighted to work at VRES, an organization whose values align closely with my own. In my role, I help manage hiring, onboarding, and administration, so that our staff are able to handle key tasks with the right people next to them. This summer, I look forward to working with my team to facilitate a memorable experience for both campers, volunteers, and counsellors. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, painting, and travelling!

Hey there! My name is Shiloh and I am the camp counsellor for the upcoming summer camps. I am most excited for teaching all the fun science activities and experiments planned. In my free time, I enjoy going for runs and keeping my creativity up through cooking, crafting, and reading. A fun fact about me: I really enjoy my fruits and veggies.

Hi! I’m Parneet. I’m a Community Service Worker who enjoys supporting people and helping build inclusive communities. I studied Sociology and Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia. My favourite part of working at VRES is the people. I value the relationships I have built with both my coworkers and the individuals and families we support.

I'm Morena, a Project Coordinator passionate about making learning accessible and fun. My favorite subjects are History, Science and Art, and I look forward to having a great summer playing with LEGO's at summer camp.

Hi, my name is Nataley and I am a Master's student at UBC studying Public Policy and Global Affairs. Outside of work, I enjoy watching dramas and hanging out with friends.
At VRES, I especially enjoy supporting outreach events and community booths, where I get to connect with parents and children while sharing information about our programs and camps. These opportunities allow me to engage with the community, raise awareness of the work we do at VRES, and help make our programs accessible to more families. It is rewarding to contribute to initiatives that create a positive impact and benefit a wide range of people.

I joined VRES because of my passion for marketing and supporting youth opportunities and programs. Through marketing, I enjoy highlighting the impact of VRES programs and helping more youth discover opportunities to get involved and have experiences that can make a lasting difference!
